Vehicles and equipment of the South Pole Traverse - 10 - Pisten Bully

Pisten Bully with the ground penetrating radar on a boom, which led the South Pole Traverse from McMurdo. Note the red and green flags on the roof and at the back which would be used to identify crevasses and safe routes.
Despite the high tech radar, it really is attached to a contraption made of an inner tube, a bit of plywood and some rope.
