in the world that captured my imagination and heart and will remain
with me until the end. The animals, the scenery, the people, the banter,
the cold, the hard work! (well I was only 17) Sadly had to leave the

Any guys out there on that trip, one year after operation deep Freeze, I was
a Crew Member I was a boy rating on the Original John Biscoe, I was
just wonderful to browse over the many photos, it brought tears to my
eyes, On my trip we went to Halley bay with Sir Vivian Fuchs, it was
a wonderful adventure, even South Georgia, and Ernest Shackleton's grave.
