Bugsaway® clothing has an insect deterrent that works against mosquitoes, ticks, ants, flies, chiggers, and midges (no-see-ums). This includes insects with the potential to carry dangerous diseases such as Malaria, West Nile virus, Dengue fever and Lyme disease. It is a method of impregnating clothing to shield the individual against insects rather than needing to disperse some kind of anti-insect agent in the surrounding environment.
