Polar Bear - Svalbard - 12

A female polar bear with a radio collar on encounters a large seal carcass. Collars won't stay on male bears as they have more muscular necks and so the collar just slides off over their head.
This carcass is probably quite old now and has been scavenged by many bears and birds already, we saw two other bears at it during the time we were here. None of them fed on it for very long so it was probably pretty well rotted and distasteful even for a hungry bear.
