Polar Bear - Svalbard - 17

The summer months are often a time of starvation for bears, they are mainly adapted for hunting large prey such as seals out on the sea-ice, when confined to land like this, they areeasy to spot for any potential prey and so are left to mainly scavenge on carrion.
