Barentsburg Svalbard - 1 - Dock House

Barentsburg is a Russian run coal mining settlement, it is the second largest town in Svalbard after Longyearbyen. It exists thanks to the "Svalbard Treaty" of 1920 which allows signatory countries to exploit mineral resources, originally Dutch it was sold to the Russians in 1932.
