That's it for another year
 - Sea Ice

Antarctic Mountains

Pretty as it may be, pack ice that stays around at the end of winter just causes a lot of problems. It's too late to get temperatures cold enough for the ice to form again and it stops boats from being to work. As a marine biologist it confined my sea access to just some shallow dives near to the beach, as far as the wildlife is concerned (swimming birds and seals that is) it's a pain to negotiate.
