This is one of two main entrances to the station, at the grid Northwest corner adjacent to the new communications building. Outside the building this could be plowed out with a tractor, but the snow blown inside had to be removed by hand. We dug this entrance out three times at the start of the 61-62 flying season only to have it refill with storms.
