Serolis - The Signy Launch

ne of the Signy launches really, but the only one for quite a while, seen here in red and grey. During one of my winters Pete Macko the boatman painted it in white and red to match the other BAS ships and which made it look much smarter too.
A bit slow moving and it bobbed around a lot, I and other marines spent many happy hours and many nautical miles aboard the good ship Serolis (named after a common disc-shaped, flattened woodlouse like arthropod commonly found in inshore Signy waters).
