Quite a satisfying job cutting snow blocks to collect as fresh water supply for the base. The blocks are large but not as heavy as they look, it's just when you've been doing it for a long time that they get heavier. Not very dense in terms of the amount of water they produce unfortunately. Snow blocking would stop when the tank the blocks went into became full. Depending on the time of year and size of the melt tank, snow blocking would take place every 2 or 3 days.
