Just when you think it can't get any more tiring, there's the boat to carry out of the water Diving itself wasn't that strenuous, but the before and after could be. Getting into a tight-fitting thick wet suit was always a struggle that lead to much sweating. Then there was the extra weights to keep you down with so much suit buoyancy, the heavy tank of air and finally at the end of the dive, having to help drag the boat (with engine still attached in this case!) out of the water.
