Looking out over the bone yard where various items would be stored due to lack of room inside the station. Oxygen tanks in the foreground were for welding; banana sleds to haul stores into the station (we did not have any capability of using modernized vehicles inside); 4x4 timbers to buttress weak areas of the station (see later slides); pink smoke is a flare being tested. About a quarter of a mile grid North of the station was a small separate storage area reserved for explosives.
