Barry Heywood lowering a water sampling device

This contraption is designed to capture a sample of water at a particular depth. Lower it to the required depth, then drop a weight down a connected line which triggers the mechanism whereby a sample is taken and sealed in so as not to mix with surrounding water on the journey back to the surface.
